Enlightened Monkey Arts is a Florida-based creative studio specializing in projection mapping for events, public art, and permanent installations. Founded by artists Dave Gordon and Elln Hagney in 2019, the company brings over 20 years of experience in creating awe-inspiring visual displays for museums, galleries, and special events across Florida.

Elln Hagney
Dave Gordon
Elln Hagney is an accomplished artist specializing in immersive projection mapping and interactive multimedia artworks that transform spaces and captivate audiences. With over 35 years of experience blending technology, storytelling, and design, Elln creates visually stunning installations that engage viewers on both intimate and grand scales.
Her innovative artworks often integrate large-scale projection mapping, interactive elements, and cutting-edge digital techniques to create dynamic environments for museums, public spaces, and special events. Elln’s pieces invite audiences to experience art in new, immersive ways—transporting them into captivating narratives and sensory experiences.
Drawing from her background as a museum designer and her expertise in creating cultural and educational programs, Elln’s art is deeply rooted in storytelling and community engagement. Her work has been featured in nationally recognized exhibitions and has earned acclaim for pushing the boundaries of interactive art and technology-driven installations. She is a proud ambassador for both the Florida Festival and Fair Association.
Dave is a new media and tech artist working with sculpture, digital photography, animation, and electronically mediated interactivity separately and in combination. His work is rooted in notions of collage and assemblage of found objects and concerns itself with technological issues past and present.
Dave has shown his work in galleries regionally and nationally. His animations have won awards internationally. He is the creator and curator of the Eadweard Muybridge Online Archive developed in partnership with the Boston Public Library. He has taught digital imaging and new media courses in and around Boston and Florida’s Gulf Coast. His career has included artist-in-residencies with the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation and The Olympian Foundation.
Dave completed his undergraduate work at Oberlin College and received his graduate degree from the Interactive Telecommunication Program (ITP) at the Tisch School of the Arts New York University.
