Halloween on S. Lime Ave
October 31, 2023
7:00 to 10:00 PM .

It's no secret, Dave and I love putting on a show for Halloween that is free for the public, friendly for all ages, and is unlike any other display in the area.

FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY!

Join us for what has become a beloved Sarasota Tradition. Halloween on S. Lime Ave is a free, family friendly neighborhood event that draws hundreds of visitors from Sarasota and Manatee County.

For one night only, this October 31st from 7 PM to 10 PM, artists Dave Gordon and Elln Hagney, of Enlightened Monkey Arts, transform their yard into a FREE Family-Friendly Halloween themed walk-a-bout themed: Pee Wee’s Postmortem Play Party in memory of Sarasota's own Paul Reubens. The installation offers four distinct haunted areas for guests to enjoy and features, projection mapping, custom made animatronics, special effects, games, interactives, a scavenger hunt and more. Described as heavy in humor with a little edge, Halloween on S. Lime is perfect for the entire family.

Smaller in size than past years, but heavy on the intimate and interactive, this year’s Madam Dementia cordially invites you to join her and the other characters of Halloween on S. Lime as they celebrate Pee- Wee Herman’s first Halloween postmortem.  In the true style of Pee Wee Herman’s Playhouse, visitors should expect a menagerie of madness.
